Our Team: Linda Vega, Manager-Legal Recruiter

Linda's expertise derives from more than 30 years' legal human resources experience. She began her career as a real estate and business litigation legal secretary and paralegal at the Black Helterline firm. Later as secretarial supervisor, she interviewed, hired, and trained the secretarial staff; coordinated work flow; oriented all new employees including attorneys; developed the firm's policies/procedures manual; and played a mean second base for their softball team. Linda worked at the firm for 19 years, eventually leaving her position to join Lane Powell Spears Lubersky. For eight years as that firm's human resources director, her responsibilities included employee relations, hiring, firing, and orientation; managing the secretarial, word processing and receptionist staff; coordinating workflow, and managing secretarial assignments; and participating in the firm's performance evaluation program. Linda joined Staffing Solutions, LLC, as Manager when we opened our doors in 1996.
She oversees and directs all legal support placement, including paralegals, legal secretaries, project assistants, receptionists, and other support staff in law offices, and corporate legal departments in Portland and Salem metropolitan areas. She consults with client law firms and has spoken at legal education seminars and has served as a director in the Oregon Legal Management Association. Linda lives in a lakeside home in the City of Fairview where she serves on the Fairview Citizen's Alliance Committee. Her neighbors have lawn envy. A family of delinquent ducks has adopted Linda, to her cat's vexation.
